Ram Chandra PoudelNepali Congress vice president Ram Chandra Poudel Friday said his party would launch protest movement if the parties failed to arrive at an understanding on Saturday, the last day of the 5th deadline given by them to choose a consensus Prime Minister President.


Speaking at a press conference organised to inform about the gathering of the presidents of the NC regional committees, Poudel said the NC and the opposition parties would be left with no other choice than to take to the streets.


The NC leader also claimed that the UCPN (Maoist) had no internal dispute and that the Maoists were deliberately spreading such rumours to fool the opposition parties.
The three-day meeting ofthe heads of NC's committees in 240 election constituencies will start from Saturday. According to Poudel, the party is also preparing to hold a meeting of the Maha Samiti. nepalnews.com
