Police officials investigating a robbery in Tulsipur, Dang, on Friday night have suspected that the heist was an 'inside job.'

Three unidentified persons had come to the local branch of Bank of Kathmandu posing as customers and looted Rs 19.5 million from BoK's evening counter.
Local police officials said they are questioning bank staffers over the incident. Dang SP Lokendra Bahadur Mall said that BoK's head office has dispatched a team of technicians to the incident site to recover CCTV footage of the incident.

Mall said that although the robbers had decamped with the cash by 6.10 pm, bank staffers called police only at around 8 p.m. This has raised suspicion that bank staffers may have been involved in the crime, local police officials informed.nepalnews.com
